Last week we had a lot of fun with frogs! We had counting stories, story time and artwork with our frogs. "Five Little Fishies" counting rhyme came home and our "Five Little Frogs" will come home soon. Miss Elizabeth taught us a song about 5 little frogs on a log. Ask your preschooler if they can sing this song to you. It has a big alligator at the end, so watch out! During circle time, we work as a group to complete our color puzzles, with each child bringing the puzzle piece to the puzzle and naming their colors. I even tricked a couple of them this week and they were quick to correct me with the appropriate color. I say the counting rhyme to them and then they say it with me the next couple of times. Mia was able to repeat the rhyme completely right after I shared it with them. They are all so smart and have learned so much this year. Ms. Beth & I really enjoy this group!
Other notes: We will finish up Movement classes soon and our Easter Party will be lots of fun with an Egg Hunt at preschool. We will make our own bags
for collecting the eggs. More notes to follow and we hope to see you all there!
